Our Priorities
Hoʻohui Kaiāulu
Community Connections & Relationship Building
Hoʻohui Kaiāulu is about intentionally weaving our houseless 'ohana back into the fabric of society, by including these individuals as a vital part of society and creating spaces for them to belong, contribute, and live—protecting mental and physical health, improving the quality of, and prolonging human life; building strong, resilient, and sustainable communities together.

Empowerment & Leadership
Empowering our houseless as leaders in their own care, we foster a culture of shared responsibility, mutual support, and collective progress. By shifting the narrative from dependency to agency, we move away from a model of charity, and towards one of solidarity, leadership, and long-term change.

Healing Through Service
Engaging in restorative work that nurtures physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, healing both individuals and the community. Houseless individuals work alongside their peers and others in the community and participate in service projects that are focused on protecting and caring for others and the community.

Expanding Access to Care
Removing systemic barriers and expanding access to care for houseless individuals, by connecting them to essential services (including housing navigation, health care, and peer support), providing them with the care and services needed for stability and growth, we aim to sustain life and foster long-term wellness.
